Attend patients and refer them to specialized health facilities (if needed).

To ensure the availability of required medicine and timely communicate deficiency of medicines to Health Coordinator/PBHO, KP.

To control ambulance for transportation of patients to other health facilities in case of emergencies.

Offer services to all age, gender, religious groups of people.
-
Compile and ensure timely submission of daily/monthly reports and records.

To conduct regular progress meetings with the staff

May require to perform other related duties assigned by supervisor as per organization’s set standards.

Conduct medical examinations, assessments, and diagnoses for patients of all ages.

Provide primary medical care, treatment, and management of acute and chronic illnesses.

Administer medications and other medical interventions as needed.

Offer counselling and health education to patients regarding their conditions and treatment plans.

Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate medical assistance when necessary.

Stabilize patients in critical conditions and initiate appropriate referrals or transfers to higher-level healthcare facilities.

Promote preventive healthcare measures and educate patients about maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients.

Document patient histories, diagnoses, treatments, and follow-up plans.

Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including nurses, pharmacists, and support staff, to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Consult and refer patients to specialists when necessary.

Adhere to all relevant medical and ethical standards and regulatory guidelines.

Ensure that the health unit operates in compliance with local and national healthcare regulations.

Participate in quality improvement and assurance initiatives to enhance the quality of healthcare services provided by the health unit.

Ensure the availability and proper functioning of medical equipment and supplies in the health unit.

Make requisitions for necessary medical equipment and supplies as needed.

Stay updated with the latest medical advancements, research, and best practices through continuing medical education.

Provide training and mentorship to medical staff and healthcare providers when applicable.

Assist in the management and coordination of the health unit's daily operations. Collaborate with administrative staff to maintain efficient patient scheduling and workflow.

Demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity to meet the diverse healthcare needs of the patient population.

Provide regular reports to health unit management on patient statistics, health trends, and any notable medical issues.

Implement and enforce safety and infection control protocols to maintain a safe healthcare environment for patients and staff.
