Aga Khan Health Service, Pakistan is looking for a seasoned and dynamic Project Coordinator for Chitral Region under Living Lab Project.

The Project Coordinator will collaborate with regional stakeholders, oversee field teams, manage data quality, and ensure compliance with project protocols. Project Coordinator will also be responsible for budget management, resource allocation, and preparing high-quality progress reports.

 Key Responsibilities:

Project Planning and Implementation:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive work plans that align with project goals, timelines, and budget constraints.
  • Coordinate with district teams to ensure the timely completion of field activities, data collection, and reporting.

Field Team Management:

  • Supervise and support field coordinators and data collectors, providing guidance, training, and mentorship as needed.
  • Oversee recruitment, orientation, and ongoing capacity building for field staff to ensure effective performance and high-quality data collection.

Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for local partners, government agencies, and community stakeholders.
  • Foster strong working relationships with Lady Health Workers (LHWs), Lady Health Supervisors (LHS), and Department of Health (DoH) representatives.

Data Management and Quality Assurance:

  • Oversee data collection processes, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project SOPs.
  • Monitor data entry into RedCap or relevant software, ensuring timely updates and quality assurance through regular data audits.

Budget and Resource Management:

  • Manage project budget, ensuring expenditures align with approved budget lines and project goals.

Reporting and Documentation:

  • Prepare and submit high-quality activity and progress reports for internal stakeholders and funders, highlighting key achievements, challenges, and lessons learned.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of project activities, participant records, and field reports for compliance and evaluation purposes.

Training and Capacity Building:

  • Organize and facilitate training sessions for field staff and local DoH teams to build capacity and ensure project objectives are met.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to support continuous improvement.

Monitoring and Evaluation:

  • Implement monitoring and evaluation activities to assess project progress and impact, identifying areas for improvement.
  • Coordinate field visits and assessments to evaluate data quality, field team performance, and project outcomes.

Education, Experience & Competencies

  • Master’s degree in public health, Social Sciences, Project Management, or any related field.
  • At least 3 - 5 years of experience in project management, preferably in public health research, community development.
  • Proven track record of managing field teams, stakeholder engagement, and resource allocation.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience liaising with government officials and community stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in data management and reporting software, including RedCap, Excel, or similar platforms.
  • Operational mindset to tackle field challenges on daily basis
  • Ability to travel frequently to project sites within the region.
  • Familiarity with the cultural and social dynamics of the project area is preferred
