Normeca International AS is operating an innovative healthcare project in Pakistan, the “Mobile Multi-Diagnostic Clinic / Mini Hospital,” in collaboration with the Islamic Development Bank (ISDB) and the Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan. This project involves state-of-the-art mobile clinics, housed in large, fully-equipped trailers, designed to deliver essential healthcare services directly to communities in the KPK and Sindh regions. Each mobile clinic supports a range of general diagnostic services and minor surgical procedures. In addition to advanced medical equipment, the units are designed with comprehensive facilities, including kitchens, laundry, dining areas, and conference rooms, ensuring complete functionality and comfort for medical teams and patients alike. Through this project, Normeca International AS is committed to enhancing healthcare accessibility and delivering high-quality care to underserved areas.
Normeca International AS is seeking a friendly and organized OPD (Outpatient Department) Receptionist to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations and providing excellent service to patients in the rural areas of Pakistan. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing front desk operations and assisting patients throughout their visit.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients as they arrive at the clinic.
- Manage patient check-in and check-out procedures.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to appropriate staff.
- Maintain and update patient records and documentation.
- Handle patient registration, including collecting necessary information.
- Assist patients with completing forms and provide information about clinic services.
- Coordinate with medical staff to ensure timely patient flow.
- Manage the waiting area, ensuring it is clean and comfortable for patients.
- Assist in managing medical supplies and equipment.
- Maintain confidentiality and comply with healthcare regulations and policies.
- Assist in setting up and dismantling mobile medical units at various locations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare administration is a plus.
- Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.
- Friendly and professional demeanor.
- Proficiency in English is an advantage.
- Willingness to work in non-standard conditions in rural areas.
